Why the name change?
For over 11 years Mortgage Check has been proactive in helping its clients save money on their mortgages and other related products and services. The changing face of financial services during 2008 meant that our clients needed a more comprehensive range of products and services. |
| Our old name did not accurately reflect the increasing number of products and services that we had been introducing nor that our client base is predominately located in Scotland. It was now the perfect time for change The combination of ALBA, "the ancient and modern Gaelic name (pronounced Al-a-pah) for Scotland", and Money seemed to naturally match our expanding business model. On the 2nd February 2009 ALBA Money was launched. | |
